How to avoid fake Jack Wills clothing

This site was created to showcase Jack Wills clothing which we believe is one of the coolest brands in the U.K.  We are totally against the idea of buying counterfeit items of any kind both on legal and moral reasons but also from a quality point of view as counterfeit items are of far inferior quality to the originals.

There's also nothing more embarassing than proudly donning your new Jack Wills garment only for your mates to laugh at you as they've spotted you're wearing a cheap knock off !!

Please be aware that all items visible on this site are items currently listed on Ebay's live auctions. Ebay does everything it can to ensure that counterfeit items are not sold from it's website but unfortunately some items slip through the net.

Buying your Jack Wills item direct from one of their stores (see Jack Wills store list) is a guaranteed way of ensuring you're buying a genuine Jack Wills garment.

Another method is to visit the official Jack Wills site where you can also purchase online.

If you find an item on our site currently listed on Ebay then we can suggest a number of ways in which you can try to establish if it's an original garment or not.

1/ Steer clear of any Jack Wills clothing where the seller is based from outside the U.K. It may be common sense but worth repeating. Sellers from China, Taiwan etc are more likely to deal in counterfeit goods than sellers in the U.K.

2/ Common sense also needs to be applied to U.K. sellers. Read the auction listing carefully, if the auction is worded as "Jack Wills style" or "authentic looking" or any similar type of phrase then the item is almost certainly fake.

3/ Are the photographs of the item clearly displayed in the listing or are they blurry and vague ? If so, then ask the seller to send you new photo's so you can inspect the labels etc.

4/ Be direct. If in doubt, email the seller and ask them if it is a genuine item. Of course they may lie but other factors should help you decide.

5/ Ebay uses a feedback rating for sellers. Everytime a seller completes a transaction the buyer has an option to leave a short review of the buying process scoring the transaction as "positive", "negative" or "neutral". Every time someone scores them with a positive feedback then their feedback score increases by one. A seller with a high feedback score is seen as a more credible and trustworthy seller than someone who has a zero or low feedback score.

If after your purchase you believe you have been sold a counterfeit item then we urge you to report the seller to Ebay and if you paid by Paypal also file a dispute with them as well.
